Writing skills are not relevant to one moment of a student’s academic career.  They are a universal, lifelong skill.  The value and importance of writing skills can never be stressed enough.  Without them, many find they are unable to perform at a higher academic rigor, struggle to express themselves to others, and often struggle to advance in their work environment.

Writing is never complete.  Professional writers have often stated that their work is never done, even when it is published.  There will always be room for improvement.  Writing is not reserved for an English class, STAAR Exam or SAT.  When used correctly, writing is a cross-curricular tool that opens a student’s academic comprehension, confidence and mastery of content.
